Promises will guide me thru the night,
Purity assists me in the fight…
Selflessness will be my way of life,
Sacrifices help me to survive…
Exuberance is my foundation,
Tranquility brings my salvation…
Endless beauty, everlasting Love,
Grace of God and Peace from up above…
Honesty will lead me to the Light,
Hear me God, and teach me what is right…
I have found Unity in Grace,
I’ve found Love, and working on my Faith…
Openness and sharing keep me strong,
I’ll ask for forgiveness, when I’m wrong…
Striving for acceptance in the crowd,
I was lost so long, but now I’m found…
Tolerance is something I have learned,
I have reached the point of no return…
Now I see my family restored,
I am coming thru an open door…
Thru my work, sobriety is gained,
I am letting go, all my pain…
Humbly ask my Savior to be near,
I’m alive, I’m happy, I’m here…
I will start my mornings with a prayer,
I will put away all my affairs…
I won’t let my pride, get in my way,
I am staying clean, Just For Today!
