The day I forget

Òåìíàÿ Ëèëèÿ
Inspired by the song
“Himininn er a; hrynja en stj;rnurnar fara”  (Olafur Arnalds)

Hey, don’t you remember,
When we were little,
So carelessly young,
You asked me a question.

“What‘s that when you die?”

I only kept silent,
Try hiding my eyes.
A moment you asked
I’d nothing to say.

Looking back at the past,
Through all hate and my pain.
I wish you don’t ask
What happens to us.

A moment away
My words were so casual,
Like the game being played.

“You simply forget
The voices and stares,
Things being cherished,
Faces and cares.”

Saying this speech,
Keeping self-calm.
You ruined the world
By one little point.

“Even you?”

I looked in your eyes,
Hiding the ache
Deep down in my chest,
Approved the reply.

The words to go on
Stuck fast on the tongue.
That voice in my head

“You do not want to die,
  Never forget”

But apparently all
We have saved till this day
Was just taken away.

“How did I forget?
How?”
