You should not come back to a site of fire

Лука Иванов
You should not come back to a site of fire
Persistently aspiring to the Past,
You scarcely ought to look for past desire
In ash of bygones longing to adjust.

What is the use to feel like short-term meeting
Them who was loved by us long long ago?
As if you felt your joy so bright but fleeting,
You feel the loss till being on the go.

Their time’s been over. They are like a wizard
Who cannot conjure now any more.
Their trace is hidden with a winter blizzard
And you should not be worried on that score.

You should not come back to a site of fire
You should not stand as I somewhere stood
And peered into the distance getting mire
And losing hope for happiness for good.
