Single clumsy bear
Crushed a large armchair.
Two hungry wolves
Gulped down two fools.
Three cunning foxes
Filched Cristmas boxes.
Four caudate rats
Frightened our cats.
Five long-eared hares
Like to jump upstairs.
Six grunting pigs
Gorged three hundred figs.
Seven shaggy dogs
Barked at croaking frogs.
Eight cheeping mice
Gnawed through sacks of rice.
Nine stray sheep
Lay and fell asleep.
Ten yelling daws
Made an awful noise.
