That what I do would not be something you'd appreciate.
I do not always tell you that I'm worried or concerned-
You would feel even worse than me, and that's not what I want.
I know you'd like to share my pain when I need it the most,
But if you didn't understand me, I would feel so lost!
I sometimes want you to hug tight my hardly-breathing soul.
Not disappointing you at all would be my greatest goal.
I know, I know that you do want to always hold my tight,
I know, I know - we both do - that you're always by my side.
And maybe there's not any need to share my thoughts with you-
You've always felt just everything I ever wish you knew!
