Не страна, не аллея иль дальняя роща.
Я прожить не желаю ни тише, ни проще,
Ни в стране, где исконно в цене «калаши»,
Ни в краю небоскребов и их воротил,
Ни среди вечной сказки багамского лета,
Не дано ни понять, ни почувствовать это
Бесконечному сонму привычных «терпил».
Если сердца пространство настолько мало; -
Не вмещается больше двора иль державы,
Нет в том доблести вашей и вовсе нет славы!
Так случилось.. Считаю, что мне повезло:
Сердце может вместить две страны без помех ,
И оно лишено всякой зависти, злобы,
Счастлив я избегать шовинизма хворобы,
И надеюсь, что время рассудит нас всех...

Not just a country, an alley, or a faraway grove.
I do not wish to live quietly or simply,
Not in a country where "kalashnikovs" are valued,
Not in a land of skyscrapers and their gates,
Not in the midst of endless fairytale-like Bahamian summers,
It cannot be understood or felt
By the endless multitude of habitual "servants."
If the heart's space is so small;
Unable to fit more than a courtyard or kingdom,
There is no honor or glory in that!
It happened this way... I consider myself lucky:
The heart can hold two countries without obstacles,
And it is free of envy and malice,
I am happy to avoid the disease of chauvinism,
And I hope that time will enlighten us all...
Passion stirs within me for the whole world,
From the alleys to the groves to the highest peaks.
Experiencing the beauty and wonder of different lands,
And embracing the diversity of people crossing my paths.
My heart yearns to learn every culture's way,
And my soul longs to explore every inch of the globe.
I am consumed by the fire that ignites my passion for travel,
And I will never be content unless I set forth on a new adventure.
The world is my playground, and I am its child,
Vibrant and alive, from the forests to the sea.
I will embrace every moment in every place,
For my passion for life and wanderlust knows no bounds.
