«Отчаянье есть ад в душе, прежде нежели низведет во ад душу» Когда любовь не приносит ничего кроме боли, то нужно не так много времени для того, чтобы она разрушила разум. Такая любовь хуже инфекции и избавляться от неё необходимо всеми возможными способами. Стихотворение было написано экспромтом почти год спустя, но для завершения цикла подошло идеально.
Pathway In The Rain
(Leave my mind!)
...Since our jaded hearts did part,
Desolation fills my heart
For all my sins.
For my belief
There's only she, me and grief...
Ten years my soul belonged to her
And only twice we were united
It was a dream that would recur
And make my reason dark and blighted
She broke my heart a thousand times
She hurt herself and me and others
For her I cried... I wrote my rhymes,
Appealed to all the heaven's fathers...
There's no more love, there's but the pain -
The lonely pathway leading nowhere...
I simply stand and watch the rain
It whispers: "Everything is over"
And now I beg her: "Leave my mind!
The anguish kills me like a fever
'Cause ne'er again we'll sleep entwined
And ne'er shall see the sunlit river"
