I'm getting really nervous
About my crappy life,
It used to be spontaneous
And bring me joy and drive.
I used to be so crazy
And having so much fun,
But now I feel so lazy
To get that odd things done.
I used to be so sleepless
And sing songs all night long,
My thoughts came like the riddles
And nothing seemed too wrong.
Remember that light feeling
When I was twenty one
My Eve and I were dreaming
To stay forever young.
And now I'm not so sure
If that's the life we meant
These youth dreams were so pure,
Now, all I do is spend.
My days are running by me
While time is flying fast
I mark as done, snooze timer.
Can't let my spring go past!
