глядящий на грязь под ногтями
когда он в дороге полжизни
проводит на глади морской
изранено море судами
не лечит оно свои раны
затем чтобы следуя шрамам
моряк мог вернуться домой

is spent at sea?
the water hurt by ships
does not hurry to heal its wounds
so that sailors could find the way home
