FROM PETERSBURG
We have become so close
two souls
in the eternal dance
you and me
together.
The strings of our hearts
are tight
and when you are abroad
I miss you,
I want you, darling.
I know that
Whitman there
and Tsvetaeva here
inspire you.
We both are poets,
we think
about the same
We see far away
while listening
to the melody
of emotions
And we'll write again
what wasn't finished.
We'll dream together
during rainy days
in our native city.
