  This Jewish holiday, which name means “Day of Atonement”, is celebrated of over the world not only in Israel, in Jewish Communities, but only in Israel the observation of it is really unique. In the whole country in this day all public transportation stops working. The car owners, residents and guests of the country respect the holiday and don't drive as well. Also radio and TV stations do not translate anything. As far as the streets are empty, children of all ages take advantage of this unusual day. You can see them out, riding by their bicycles, roller blades and skateboards along the main streets. Have you ever seen something like that in any over country?! People are dressed in white and walk down the narrow streets. This day is the holiest Jewish holiday and the tourists are always deeply impressed by this unique.
