To Sri Aurobindo’s Mahasamadhi Day December 5th
“Who said I died?”
Sri Aurobindo smiled.
“You know, I really cannot die,
For I’m the One Eternal I.”
“Who said I left?”
Sri Aurobindo laughed.
“You see, I have nowhere to leave,
For always everywhere I live.”

Sri Aurobindo’s leaving the body makes no essential difference. Sri Aurobindo is after all a certain consciousness, the divine consciousness, and this consciousness was there even before the earth came. The question of his ‘absence’ has little meaning.
The Mother

«Кто сказал, что умер я?» —
Улыбнулся Бого-Мастер. —
«Знаешь ли, вообще-то не могу я умереть,
Ибо Я — Единый Вечный».
«Кто сказал, что я ушел?» —
Рассмеялся Шри Ауробиндо. —
«Видишь ли, вообще-то некуда мне уходить...
Ибо Я живу всегда и всюду».
И Ученик с любовью рек:
«В душе моей гармония открылась:
Ты есть, и все вокруг преобразилось!»
