Toastmaster s Song

Чирков Владимир
Life goes up and life goes down.
Life is work and life is fun.
There's the church and there’s a pub,
And I choose Toastmaster’s Club.

Hardly it's a whim of mine -
Staying where's nothing but beer and wine.
Rather I'd be a volunteer
Of tasting cakes and good old tea

Neither can't I bear to stay
At the church - just cry and pray.
I go where there's clever folk
Having taste of good old joke.

Here I meet gentle people which
Can appreciate my speech.
Please, dear friends, I beg you all,
Do appreciate my soul!

In a pub our health goes down.
With the church we find no fun.
Down with church! and down with pub! -
We!
all!!
choose!!!
Toastmaster’s Club!!!!!
