A tale ( Alexandria)
1.)
Far from here, in the Middle East,
O'l man river which is called the Nile
Not just like a tourist
My girl in an exile...
And she' s like a lotus
Blossoms just in spring
What a weird focus!
She doesn't hear when I sing!
Will I cross deep waters?
Shall I cross my heart, full of fear?
O'l man gave short notice -
On the scroll - how to get there...
She's watching every hour
Through window - aren't I'm here?
I know her name for certain-
But not able to find, she disappeared!
Alexandria!!!
Alexandria!!!
I say:"Privet!"
I say:"Privet!"
2.)
She lives in a stony tower,
She has a perfect ocean view,
I am dreaming to be her lover,
Kiss the morning dew...
A spell has sealed the future
A hundred billion times
I hope my love is mutual
And that thought helps me to rhyme
So, don't you be contrary
And don' t you take my song apart,
I'd loved you from the very
First moment I'd seen you, my heart!
Your portrait is on my chest -
O'l man had drawn it by heart,
This picture is his last, the best, when I watch it my
Brain is a cuckoo's nest!
Alexandria!!!
Alexandria!!!
I say:"Privet!"
I say:"Privet!"
3.)
Though along
the river
Flowers are floating, flowers gone...
I'd have be a lover's fever,
Life is not a fun...
And like only you I' m dreaming
To find peace under the Sun,
Don't worry, perfect swimming
Enables me to reach firm land!
As the o'l man said - it' s nothing
That is a new thing for us under the Sun,
A Ruddy King of Nature
Saw all it through, he understands
I know the name of the city
And the sound of your name too,
They coincide - that' s witty?
And the moon has turned to blue, just has turned to blue!!
Alexandria!!!
Alexandria!!!
I say:"Privet!"
I say:"Privet!"
