А TRUE FRIEND
Рассказ
Человек проскакал верхом на лошади до ближайшего города, чтобы получить деньги. Он взял с собой свою собаку. Получив деньги, он положил их в свою сумку и отправился домой. Его собака бежала рядом с лошадью. Погода была холодная. Человек захотел отдохнуть, он присел под деревом и положил сумку с деньгами рядом с собой. Но когда он снова сел на лошадь, то забыл деньги под деревом и уехал прочь.
Собака хотела потащить сумку, но это было тяжело. Она бежала за лошадью и долго лаяла, как бы рассказывая человеку о его ошибке. Но человек не понимал собаку. Он подумал наверно собака взбесилась. Когда они пересекали реку, человек увидел, что собака не пьёт воду, и он подумал, что она бешеная. Он достал свой пистолет и выстрелил в собаку.
Человек был очень опечален: ,,Я бы предпочел потерять деньги чем собаку"-подумал он. И вдруг он вспомнил о деньгах. Он не понял свою собаку и от этого стал ещё печальней. На обратном пути он увидел капли крови на земле, проходя мимо дерева, свою собаку рядом с деньгами. Верная собака не смогла встать. Вскоре она умерла.

A man went on horseback to the nearest town to get some money. He took his dog with him. When he got the money,he put the bag in front of him and started for home. His dog ran near the horse. The weather was hot. The man wanted to rest.
He sat dawn under a tree and put the bag with the money near him. But when he got on his horse again,he forgot the money under the tree and went away.
The dog wanted to drag the bag,but it was very heavy. It ran after the horse and barked more and more. It tried to tell hte man of his mistake. But the man did not understand the dog. He thought that the dog was mad.When they crossed a river,the man saw that the dog did not drink,and he was sure that it was mad. He took his pistol and shot the dog.
The man was very sad" I'drather lose the money than the dog," he thought. And suddenly he remembered about the money. Now he uderstood his dog,and he was still
sadder. On his way back he could not see his dog, he saw only blood on the ground.
But when he came to the tree, he saw his dog near the money.The dog tried to stand
up but it could not.
Soon the dog died.
