1. Our world is dark and spooky place,
But we are lights in Jesus’ hands.
He lights us up, so we in turn
Will carry our light to the world.
Rf.: Go, carry your light to the world,
Go, make the others' candles burn,
Go spread our Father's holy word
And He will give you a reward!
Don't stay aside, hiding your light -
It’s time for you to lighten night!
You carry light, that you can’t hide -
By it you’ll dispel dark of night!
2. We’re Jesus’ warriors on Earth,
And here’s our weapon mighty - love.
As Jesus said - love, bless your foes -
And we must listen Shepherd’s voice!
3. If we won’t lighten world, who will?
And here’s Our Father’s godly will:
“Go, lighten world, tell about Me
I gave your only Son for thee
So you’ll have everlasting life
I you’ll believe in Jesus Christ -
That Jesus died for your sins, too -
I will forgive all sins to you.”
4. Don’t keep your light just to yourself -
Guide people to the Christ; from hell,
Where they would certainly end up,
If you won’t lighten way to God.
5. When in the glory God will come,
Our light in world will not be gone -
It’ll join Jesus’ mighty light,
And there won’t ever be a night!
