Real Friendship

                Real Friendship-1
Tim and Linda are two friends. His house is in New York. She lives in London. Sometimes Tim calls her. He doesn’t speak much, he only listens. Linda usually has a lot of news. She can talk for hours. Sometimes she forgets who she is speaking about.
But Tim is a good listener: he never interrupts her, never asks silly questions and doesn’t yawn loudly. He only looks at his wallet from time to time and sighs heavily.
Linda is a happy person. She has a real friend who likes to call her from America and she can trust him all her secrets. And he is never tired of listening to her. Yet Linda heard him sigh one day. Poor boy! He must be in love...
Real Friendship-2
Tim is a friend of Linda’s. But in fact he is nobody’s friend. He is a KGB agent. His real name is Vasya Byakin. Ten years ago he was only a sergeant, but he rose steadily in ranks and now he is a colonel. Now he is on a special mission in America. His boss, general Butylkin, ordered him to put Linda under strict observation.
Her endless chatter drives him crazy. Bur her uncle Mr Clyster is a prominent chemist in Great Britain. Maybe she too knows his secret formula of non-alcoholic moonshine. Tim can wait for hours to hear it. And he is sure it will happen sooner or later. Of course his close attention to her personality could be suspicious to anybody but Linda. She simply doesn’t have enough brains to figure it out. O.K., sing, birdie, sing, Russian spies never miss a chance...
