My Life Story

Рамиро Лебедев-Толмач
I was born in Moscow 25 years ago, that is on the fifteenth of January, 1992, in the family of common Soviet people. Of course, my Dad wanted a boy, so he was kind of depressed when he first saw me in the maternity house. But I managed to kick him right between his eyes with my left foot and it naturally brought him back to earth. I hope that at that very moment it dawned upon him that I was a godsend.
Time went on and seven years later I wasn’t different from my friends but soon I got tired of noisy parties and hanging around. No wonder that I kept to myself most of the time: I listened to classical music, played chess with myself, did my lessons from dusk till dawn and didn’t smoke «Belomor» like all my friends.
I hope I received a good education at school. Believe it or not, I liked school a lot because it was fun for me. (I hope for my poor teachers too). I wasn’t a straight A student, yet luckily I didn’t have to repeat a single year. As to my preferences, I majored in German, History and Literature. But to tell you the truth, my school director sighed with relief when I finished school. I still wonder why.
As to my private life, I became a serious lady after my third divorce. That’s for sure. I didn’t even cry, you know.
My health is OK too because I always try to be in a good shape. Every morning I do a hundred and fifty push-ups. During the day I take every opportunity to develop my muscles. The results are astounding. If somebody really gets me, I can throw a dagger with my eyes shut, and you can take my word for it, I’ll never miss the target…
It goes without saying that I keep to the diet, which saves a lot of money for my poor parents.
