If you can wait and live through early tortures
Of dirty physiologies of lust,
While being exposed to the modern vultures
Who try to bury love in lustful dust;
If you can turn that lust into emotions,
With sensitivity but not idealism,
And piety helps navigate the notions
To filter knowledge through the moral prism;
And finally, if you can find that person
Who will respond to every hidden pulse,
And you retire on each other's bosoms
And share every thought as best of pals,
When days and nights seem short and not enough,
You know you have found your perfect love.
