The Wedding

Анастасия Спивак
There is a yellow boat on the sea.
My bride and I are sleeping in a haze
Of water’s breathe. And our innocent sin
Is trembling like a dream in starry space.

Our wooden bed is getting black. I guess,
All evil beasts approached to us, awoke.
There are exhaust exhales of our guests.
My bride and I are swimming in a smoke.

You are so fragile in this white and gray
Light of the sky. Don’t be afraid, my dove.
My bride and I are kissing in the grave,
The bluish world is rippling right above.
