A Christmas tree grew in a forest,
Isn’t largest and isn’t smallest,
It was always green of color
In the winter and the summer.
The Santa Claus came along
He admired and sang the song:
“ You are pretty, do you know?
I’ ll cove you with the snow.
Do you hear a quiet sound?
A little rabbit springs around,
A hungry wolf prowls about,
From the lair it jumps out”.
Once a brave man came in
The forest and has seen
A Christmas tree and cut it down,
It is fallen on the ground.
Now Christmas tree is splendid,
With the care decorated,
It is beautiful and bright,
Merry Christmas comes
tonight!
