Rossiya’s our ancient and holy world power,
Our country’s majestic, beloved domain.
Your strong will, and glory – they’re not for an hour –
For ever and ever are your peoples’ fame!

From southern seas to the Polar nooks lonely
Our country has spread out its forests and fields.
You are in the whole world the best, and the only, -
God’s mercy and blessing are our shields!
