If I were a philosopher

Екатерина Передереева
If I were a philosopher
I would not dream of happiness
I would drink rain water
wouldn't eat meat , but carrots.

I would sleep  five hours
or  less - I would be satisfied
I would not need kindness
I'd be strong not having any desires.

but I am weak,
a small girl in a mature body
I want  cognac and dark chocolate.
wish to cry if looked upon without dignity
and want to break the  neck, if am not admired.
