И нож подальше отложи.
А там уж «Возлюби!» воспой.
А не возлюбишь, бог с тобой.
Коль не украл и не убил,
Неважно, что не возлюбил.

A COMMANDMENT
Say to yourself: “You must not steal!”
And always follow this appeal.
Say to yourself: ”You must not hurt!”
And maybe… Maybe you will not.
And “Do not kill!" – say to yourself
And put the knife on the farthest shelf.
And only then say:” Let us love!”
And if you do not, God above
Will still forgive your lack of love.
For if you have not stolen nor killed,
No matter that with love you are not filled.
