Sweet Winter

Åâãåíèé Òèìîôååâ
It was winter—with snow all around,
The freezing temperatures to keep me still.
No breath, no pulse, and no real life,
Disabled in the comfortable ice without knowing.

Then came the spring, and sun showed up
Looking in through my windows, melting ice
And smiling with a promise of something good
To come my way and wipe the frozen tears.

I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.
When there’s no pain,
No pulse of love,
I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.

The summer wrapped me up with warmth
And joy, and happiness of love fulfilling.
The heat arrived and brought me hope
Of something so much bigger than my life.

I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.
When there’s no pain,
No pulse of love,
I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.

Then came the fall with rain and winds
Howling in the wasteland, and leafless branch
Knocked on my window—remains of happy thoughts
Reminding me of what I am and what I should expect.

I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.
When there’s no pain,
No pulse of love,
I’m waiting for the winter,
Sweet sweet winter.

Sweet sweet winter.
Sweet sweet winter.
It’s time. You are so close.
Sweet sweet winter.
Sweet sweet winter.
Sweet swee....
