Won’t you stop and wait for me
Don’t go hurling those mad words
At my own insanity
Only go if you return
Won’t you take a look at me:
Dreams may’ve left so long ago
Lucid dreams is what I see
Crimson-conjured vertigo
Show no mercy – shelter me
For my mercy wait in vain
For unforgiven sins would-be
My medication: swapping pain
Let’s tear it down, let’s leave behind
That blanket woven of black pain
Do come to me and heal my mind
But only if you mean to stay
