I have a fear that one day
I will become somewhat unworthy
And realize that all my life.. was spent
To get that prize- my trophy
I have a doubt, sense of shame
I am not enough, I am so lame
My contribution is a zero
Oh God I am nobody’s hero!
I need a reason to go on
To fight my everlasting battles
To let it go and just move on
And focus on the one who matters.
I wish one day I’ll realize
that I am strong, my better version
And fire will defeat that ice
Tears falling from my tired eyes…
That I have made it through those lies
The one rewarded for his tries
Because of hope that never dies!
