The seas and oceans bring forth scum
from bottommost depths.
How rapidly the changes come
to laws, decrees, precepts!
The right is becoming wrong,
the wrong is now right.
But are you going along
with darkness of the night?
It might appear, evil wins,
obscurity triumphs,
confusing all established things,
it seems, it has all trumps.
Are you accepting come what may,
and, welcoming all trends,
you godly principles betray
and look through human lens?
Are you, forgetting blood of Christ
and powers in it,
to Baal’s alter sacrificed
your faith? Do you quit?
Oh, hold on! Please, hold on!
Trust in His mighty name!
For after darkness comes the dawn.
Avoid facing shame!
When He shall stretch to you His hands,
He, whose all being shines,
what shall you tell to Him, who has
the crucifixion signs?
Forget this temporary world,
with all its traps and baits.
Believe the ever living Word:
the Judgement Day awaits.
When you will see the radiant face
of Jesus, God alive,
all evil would not leave a trace,
in Christ you, too, will thrive.
Forget your doubts and the voice
of cowardice and fear.
It’s time to make your final choice.
Believe that Christ is near!
