We all are given at our birth
a talent or abilities.
Leave something beautiful on Earth –
don’t waste possibilities.
Leave something in this world perverse
containing beauty’s power
that would enhance the universe.
Plant in a pot a flower!
Be it a poem or a song,
create with God in mind,
because all things to Him belong,
leave something good and kind.
Be it a word, be it a deed,
like comfort to a poor,
plant an imperishable seed
that in its core is pure.
But if you go through a trial,
can’t work or raise a child,
you still can give perhaps a smile,
with God’s will reconciled.
Whatever, sorrows or joys,
don’t spend your days dumbly,
for you have always a choice
to leave things good and lovely.
We all are able at the birth
to know good and evil.
Leave something beautiful on Earth,
for beauty is primeval!
