There s poetry in everything you see

Милена Шекян
There's poetry in everything you see:
In trees, in wind that makes the branches dance,
But careful, observant you should be,
Those miracles deserve your loving glance.

There's always something that provokes distraction,
Too hard to find the time to truly live,
To just slow down, to sit, to pay attention
To little raindrop or to fallen leaf.

To have your time for some appreciation
Of all the lovely things that new day gives,
Cause all of them could bring you consolation,
Those amazing Mother Nature gifts.

Just think of Moon and Sun and brightest stars,
Just think of mountains, rivers, skies and flowers,
They were given for no pay for us,
But limited are our earthly hours.

And in a lifetime – that is short as breath –
Find a second to enjoy the beauty,
Feel how sunbeams slowly kiss your face,
Make enjoying life your pleasing duty.

Look at all of this with love and care,
Don’t take things surrounding you for granted,
And you’ll feel that in your heart, somewhere,
Many flowers grow, so gently planted
