The Virgin on John's icons is in blue,
And he himself liked to wear the blue robes,
As love and the sign of heavenly force,
Whom he was closely connected to.
And me - I never could understand why
we are in need of loving Virgin Mary.
Why two parts are in all iconostases
And the rule is to stand on female side.
And John answered again spiritually,
And hearing his prayers She came down
The Holy Virgin has protected me
And saved me from temptation by Her Cover.
The image on his icon - Her profile,
And in the blue attire with a star,
Her steps - and Mephistopheles is trampled,
And Virgin Mary - won and is alive!
