To all my children
They are like us,
but hopefully,
much better,
Without a doubt,
and this is what I think,
What others think of them,
to me, it doesn’t matter,
I’m simply curious,
what will tomorrow bring?
Through thick and thin,
And they’ll pass
with flying colors,
They’ll make us prouder
and I can’t doubt that,
They aren’t great yet,
but much smarter,
then the others,
I know them better,
and I know they’ll be great.
As we did everything
to make them even stronger,
To give them hope
and sometimes,
even dreams,
And hopefully,
we’ll be with them
much longer,
To see them grow,
see them prosper
without fears.
And just like always,
we might have a few suggestions,
Dream big
and you’ll do great,
no matter what,
Then try your best
to answer many questions,
To strive ,
please show them
everything you’ve got.
And you’ll change lives,
For some of you, it’s simple,
To follow others,
just like you’ve been taught,
But leading many
by example
isn’t easy,
But it gets easier,
then you have ever thought.
To learn the part,
then play that part...
it’s simply magic,
It probably
should take you to the top,
Do what you like,
and there
won’t be any tragic,
Like really hating
your existing, boring job.
Let others work,
like there’s no tomorrow,
To work for others,
should not be your aim,
Create a hobby
and without any sorrows,
You’ll never know
you’ll be workIng
every day.
To put it simple,
“work isn’t a hobby”,
But if you’re smart,
you’ll know it’s not true,
You’ve seen like many fail,
run back to mommy,
Because
they haven’t thought It
all the way through.
Love what you do,
till it becomes
your second nature,
And you’ll make money,
that you always
could invest,
And it might quickly
grow into a treasure,
This is your life’s
most recommended quest.
And then you’ll be
like happy little campers,
You’ll run and play,
enjoy your daily lives,
There’s no routine,
Without annoying neighbors,
They always give you
sudden allergies
and hives.
And then, my kids,
you should remember clearly,
you’re genetically
responding to my wishes,
You will succeed
without a doubt, really...
Just please remember -
life has many,
crazy glitches.
And as your dad,
I know,
you’ll do wonders,
You will succeed,
like many did before,
Just crave enough,
and you’ll create
some real thunders,
So they could roar
with lightning
from above.
