I look at the happy Italians

I look at the happy Italians
And I slightly grasp their mentality:
They made many pieces of art
And as many guests they acquired,

Absorbed so much joy of the sun,
And so many joyful songs sang
That even through video screens
Their joy flies to us in full streams.

You learn, there are other dimensions,
Where children are vivid and free
Where reigns loud speaking and gesture,
Where the reserves of joy are so big.

It’s useful to plunge into spheres
Of strangers, especially happy,
And the heart, accepting them, blesses
This happiness for you may touch it.
