Lament of the Last

Сарасвати Брахман
Lament of the last from the generation of Moishe Girsh

To all my relatives extinguished in II world war

Their bodies are in the Earth,
buried without names.
Who gave them life and death?
Who put them into chaos?
Who will remember them,
when mortal things seize to be?
Angels will take their souls -
they are so hard to see...
I just say "no" to war.
I am the last of the kin.
If I am no longer here,
who will remember them?
They say "the bell tolls for you" -
it is exact and true.
There is just one Universe,
one world to love and embrace.
Here I stand - El Shaddai -
please, give me power and strength.
You are my hope, olive branch,
I carry you not to blame...
