Nobody told me

Денис Гольбин
Nobody told me
When I was young
That life is defined as war
Hard bloody struggle for the right to possess
Right for choice, right for success

Nobody told me
When I was young
That life is lived alone
Wild lonely road through the dark unknown
Born alone and gone alone

Nobody told me
When I was young
That life is like a sysiphean task
We roll the stone of our soul to the peak of happiness
Most fail and give up, only few reach the top

What will be right to treat a small child
To say all this truth that life is hard and wild
Or keep it locked up in a chest.
Can you tell me which way is the best?
If you know this you will be blessed.
