Does not grow in winter
The grass does not grow in winter –
Water it, don't water it …
Snow flies from the sky sometimes,
It's not the month of may.
Nightingales don't sing
Sonorous songs of the dawn,
On daisies do not guess
This very January.
The wave does not make a noise in winter –
Only in April the ice drift,
Behind the snow-covered mountain
The sun rises pale.
I don't make a woman out of snow –
What do I need them for now?..
Here in the twentieth century if only –
Those were Golden days.
