Emptiness everywhere and again

Юрий Николаевич Исаев
Orenburg region Had a feeling that we were somewhere in the past. The road is dirt. No cars. People too. Silence. There weren't even any signposts.

So we went, looking around, about 50 kilometers. It seemed that this road would never end... There was no asphalt
So we got to the village of Karagay-Pokrovka. There was no asphalt. But the bus stop is there! Probably from Soviet times.

I wonder if the bus really runs here? And then something takes me a doubt...

Village of the small houses 10. All small, unpretentious. No cottages or anything like that.

If it weren't for the electricity poles, I'd think we were really in the 19th century.

However, neither people, nor cars, nor cattle we have not met. Silence.

 Drove past.

 Orenburg region is empty
 and not just one
since 2004 all villages are empty
 everywhere
we drove through saw it for ourselves
 from Novosibirsk to Moscow
 nobody
 cities are half empty
 half a million
 and people thousands three
 and they keep disappearing
 and emptiness everywhere and again....
