Leo once again gathered at the table
A cat, a monkey with an elephant.
All hurried from different places,
Was so tight and love and friendship gesture.
Someone got here this morning,
Part of it came without asking.
The table was set for celebrations:
To sit down together.
Perched in a motley crowd,
Started stories each their own:
The cat boasted a deft paw,
The elephant threatened a serious dad,
The monkey was writhing in the corner...
The lion was tossing around like hell.
Everyone was making noise and shouting,
They swore and whispered,
All day long they talked aloud
All and all, without wasting breath...
They all hugged on the porch...
A year later, back at the Palace ...
