 from IV-III centuries BC-18 century-1500 years .Mangup-Kale.The historical name is Doros. The capital of the Principality of Feodoro (Crimean Gothic), then the Turkish fortress. Located on the top of the mountain-outlier, towering above the surrounding valleys at 250 m and above sea level on 583 m and forming a plateau with an area of about 90 hectares On the territory of the fortress are two large spring (a total of more than fifteen) which later came to be called Male and Female.
 XIII-mid-XV century-the city of Doros (Mangup) was the capital of the late Byzantine Orthodox Principality of Feodoro, which controlled the South-Western Crimea and was under the influence of Byzantium. The city itself was also called Feodoro. It is from this era that numerous artificial caves, defensive walls, basilicas foundations and the ruins of the citadel on Cape Teshkli-Burun have been preserved.
 1475. After a six-month siege of Mangup, the city, like the entire Principality, was captured by Ottoman troops. The Ottomans rebuilt the fortress, which during their reign was called Mangup-Kale-fortress Mangup. Until 1774, Mangup was the center of kadylyk (the smallest administrative-territorial unit of the Ottoman state), which was part of the eyalet (province) with the center in Kefa (Feodosia).
 1774 the Fortress was abandoned by the Turkish garrison.
