A whole country, Holland, has disappeared from the maps.
No, not disappeared under the depths of it,
Simply, changed, only its name.
No, of course, the country has a right,
As it is better to be called.
But I admit I'm used to it,
That there is a nation of Dutch in the world.
There are Dutch cheese, Dutch tulips,
There is a Dutch local flavor.
Wooden Dutch galoshes,
And the Dutch Royal Navy.
The Netherlands is now called,
Dutch people live there.
And the FLYING, terrible, NEDERLANDER,
All scares, in the sea, still.
