Be glad, the deity of death, rejoice, Osiris!
Hold tight your crook and threshing flail - your power symbols,
while playing on your tambourines, on drums and cymbals.
Coronavirus spreads around, a foe notorious.
With club-shaped studs it’s richly crowned and moves victorious.
Looks like a solar aureole, its spiked corona.
All are exposed to it – Rome, Barcelona...
What city is immune to this coronavirus?
All have it - London and New York, Berlin and Paris.
It is an enemy unseen, within it's hidden.
The famous COVID-19 hits nations heathen.
Originated in Wuhan, a Chinese city,
it's stirring for its victims now a great pity.
It’s not more dangerous than flu, to trust statistics,
but it demands resources and far more logistics.
Death toll on roads so far appears greater.
Why not to stop producing cars, as they are fatal?
Why suddenly the virus gets the prime attention?
If truth be said, it is beyond my comprehension.
Since Adam's time Death has been and still it's ruling,
but media the scare of it is now fueling.
Coronavirus conquers lands of whole nations,
inflating in the human minds imagination.
The symptoms may appear as flu or simple cold.
It’s not the first and not the last, the science told.
Is it maliciously man-made, a bio-weapon
or an experiment on us, what do you recon?
Some say, it's not the virus fault - globalization!
They claim that illnesses occur from radiation,
from electromagnetic waves, which are destructive,
and human knowledge is, alas, counterproductive.
They blame technology with its 5-th generation,
depleting cells and giving rise to mutation.
The virus is a smoke screen, they claim online,
but others argue that 5G is safe, benign.
Some people simply from a shock are now dying.
Is government proclaiming truth or is it lying?
The Holy Word about plagues had predicted.
How many souls for repentance were convicted?
Around virus conversations are revolving:
was it invented in a lab or self-evolving?
Is it a new masonic plot to put the blame
on it for economic mess, which can't be tamed?
We are susceptible to it, and people panic.
The world is rearranging chairs on its Titanic.
The countries close their borders and shops get empty.
A new life style is imposed – modus vivendi.
We cannot meet, as in the past, in groups and crowds,
and what’s the goal of it all, the night enshrouds.
The night is falling on this world and bringing fear:
without toilet tissues how to live this year?
Restraining feminist ideas, transgender lobbies,
Coronavirus puts the brakes on our hobbies.
Invading thoughts, controlling them, it has no rival,
as human instincts are hardwired for survival.
The virus strikes the breathing tracts, and Death then smothers.
The politicians point fingers one at another.
It's left for media to guess whose was the error.
Perhaps, the whole idea was in causing Terror?
What if the virus is just hype, a hoax, chimera?
The death was always on Earth since Adam’s era.
The resurrection of the Christ alone cheers us,
and if you dread one day to die, then come to Jesus.
