trifles of earth

Don’t go further, child, stop reading this instant.
Under the poems you’ll find lots of secrets
Growing, waiting for you to discover.
But please, turn your curious gaze towards others.

“The trifles” I call them, so close to the hearts,
But not to yours. It’s too pure to be touched.
You’re too young, too new to this planet.
How could you possibly feel like an adult?

How could you possibly be so depressed?…

I’m looking at you, and I’m trying my best.
I’m looking at you, but my heart’s filled with guilt.
I begin to realize, you survived like I did.
I begin to realize, that you’re just as hurt.
And you were also a child who once fell on Earth,
A child born of the Milky Way stars,
A child of romance, of true loving hearts,
Who is now so alone in the darkness and gloom.
And who is still waiting for a letter from Moon.
