Memories

Татьяна Севостьянова Севас
Shimmering among the rain-
drenched streets, the light hid himself behind the thread of the horizon. The whisper of the leaves passing by seemed the only reminders of the fading summertime: hot, steamy, sultry one with the tingling breeze playing on one's dry lips

I kept walking down this path whirling the spica of grass in my hand...It's been a pretty habit since the old days when you would take time to clear your thoughts whilst falling into Nature's heartbeat...

The sun folded its wings away as it went dormant, just like my feelings... for you.
...something you'd like to catch but can't anymore, no matter how eager your attempts to reach that kite are. It's funny (I'm smiling) we've lost it. It's over

The boy riding by is smiling at his twin brother, and I think of the kin souls scattered across the globe, expecting our meetings to come true. I'm still so full of hopes so every time, closing my eyes, I depict us being there, having the time of our lives...your ginger hair glows against the striking dawn as my heart sings that song, just like on that day,an echo in the background filing the space

".and I ...can't help...
falling in love
with
You..."
