An Ode to Love

Татьяна Севостьянова Севас
In the whirl of the rain drops
We are dancing in the wild street
We, abandoned hearts, damaged sorts
Linked by love, with no edge to see

And the light from the street lamp shed
And revealed two burned naked souls,
Tender dream that was never fed,
Scars that tend to be marks of Start

Among glimpse of a carousel
In wild rhythm you and me – still move
Maybe wind took away the past?
Something deep once begins to soothe

Being alone amidst huge thrilled throng
feeling no one but you and me…
Let the time slow its pace, fill gaps
where the love was supposed to be

August, 18th.
