I wish there was nothing

Диана Тимберленг
I wish there was nothing:
Perhaps, only water
Would fill in the gaps of these days.

And the sound of the ocean
And nothing that bothers
Your heart:
Only ripples and waves.

I wish there was nothing-
No questions, no answers,
No words that could rip us apart.

And some other morning,
We're waking up happy
And no one is caught up off guard.

I wish there was nothing-
No silly illusions,
No fear of the future,
No ghosts of the past.

And coffee is making
Our day a whole lot better
We grow strong.
We are resin in the cast.

I wish there was nothing-
No sound of the absence,
No poison that dripping of lips

And we still exist in these beautiful pictures.
In your living room, in my dorm looking kitchen,
Together. And "us" still exist.
