The autumn wind

Гусаров Андрей
The autumn wind, like an old stranger,
Comes from the fog to our homes.
His clothes are fallen leaves, wet with rain,
He resting on the staff of hopes.

Someone can see in his existence
Both summer heat and winter cold.
We feel it more than we are older,
Although wind blows to young and old.

Don't go away, my restless stranger.
Where are you want to fly again?
What do you want to talk in whispers
Until the moment of your wane.

Don't fade away, elusive vagrant.
Tell me the whole truth, I'll take it.
Where can I find other answers
That you have not conveyed to me?

It seems to us in his narration
The bird cry of the latest flock.
The clatter on the roof of raindrops
Sounds like the ticking of a clock.

He makes the soul hear how seconds
As water stream flow out of us,
And suddenly he disappears,
But leaves a void in the hearts.

The distant forest creaks and groans,
And silence falls around me.
But only one red leaf of maple
Rose from the ground suddenly.

And singing for the stars at sunrise,
The wind blows this red leaf away
Behind the passing warmth of autumn
And through the night towards the day.
