I am an arrow
Sharpened like spear,
Flying to aim through the night.
I am alone
On stage being sheer
Even with band by my side.
I am the sun
Or the moon
In the air,
Burning up high in the light.
No one will come
To protect me with care –
Stage is too full of the bright.
I am a shoot to the star in the cosmos,
I am abyss with the steep,
Knowing well what it takes to stay gorgeous,
Proud that breathe real deep.
I am the step,
And the tune,
And the sound!
I am the stream of my blood,
Course of my hands
Stretching far outbound,
Trying to keep pain apart.
I’m the many-faced earth’s dear daughter,
Rivers and forests of land,
Thankful for love that has given me water
Not to get lost but expand..
