Heroine... Heroin

Мила Полянская
Hey, sweetheart! Are you happy?
How does your life treat you?
Remember how I left you
And what you put us through?

I can’t erase a lot of things... I wish, but I can’t do,
Yet I successfully kept them, sworn not to act like you.

You won’t read these lines ever —
Nobody on the net will show you the poems list,
I will not dial your number,
And won’t respond to “missed”.

You will remember me as long as you keep breathing,
As long as your heartbeat I’d hear miles away.
I do not fantasise myself into your
Heroine,
I just predict the future and present, we are in.
I am your biggest weakness — not measly cocaine.
I am your deepest fear — in veins — like heroin.
