I’m studying to learn
and teaching to study.
Finally, I am preaching:
not many of you should become teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater judgment.
Not many of you,
not many of thou,
not many of us,
not many of myself.
If only a part of mine
could reach the ultimate point,
where light shines and the darkness did not comprehend it.
O Father, let me vomit my darkness
to empty my wretched soul
and comprehend thy love.
