The more I know Christ, the more I’m resolute
to follow His steps without a regret.
A pilgrim in this world, I follow the route
that Father God before creating me has set.
His Spirit guides me, His hand supports me, when
I am sometimes weak, I stumble or I fall.
When shadows are dark and I’m mocked by men,
I’m not alone, because the words of Jesus call.
And on this troubled path, where He in me confides
the secrets of this walk, from perils saving me,
He’s acting as my Friend and Counsellor. Besides,
the more I know Him, the more I’m feeling free.
Christ brings me to His world, where love and joy abound,
His own perfect life was for my life cost.
I’ll come one day to Heaven, where Jesus Christ is crowned.
If I obey His word, I never will be lost!
